Which Slowpitch bat has more pop? The original Miken Ultra or the Miken Ultra II balanced?
I use a '99 Demarini doublewall and it's time to move on. All bats are legal in our league, so looking for a new bat with a lot of juice---anyone use either of these bats? Pleae be as detailed as possible in your answer. I'm a pull hitter who likes a heavier bat but getting older and want to speed up my swing and use a much lighter bat.
If you can use the original Miken Ultra Maxload, go for it. The Ultra II is basically a balanced Ultra, so it all just depends on if you prefer a balanced or endloaded bat. I'm assuming that since you said you like a heavier bat, you probably prefer one with more endload. You can't really go wrong with either, though.
