Which out of state colleges?

I live in Texas, and I'll be a senior this year and all my life I've dreamed about going to college in California or Florida.

Haven't taken the ACT yet.

I know I probably don't have any chance at my dream colleges, USC and UCLA. But what about these?:

UC - Santa Barbara
San Diego State University
CSU-Long Beach
U San Diego
U Southen Florida
U Central Florida

My dad probably won't help me pay for college since he doesn't want me to move out and I do, so do any of these give good scholarships or financial aid?

You will receive no financial aid from a public California university and little or none from a public Florida university. It is a total waste to go into debt to attend a public out of state university for the bachelor's degree.

You could probably be admitted to private University of San Diego which is moderately generous with financial aid, but students who borrow money to study there graduate with an average debt of over $30,000, which is on the high side for schools of its caliber and is much too high to repay, including interest, for the "experience" of going to an out of state school.

May I suggest that you study for the SAT test and retake it. Your unweighted GPA indicates that you probably can earn a much higher score. Submit to universities only the SAT score or the ACT score, whichever one is relatively higher. You can find comparison charts on google.com

You can be admitted to a good public university in Texas and pay much less for your education.
